General Questions
Who are we and how do we promote your video?

Viral Barn is a platform that helps creators earn money from their videos. Here’s how it works: Submit your footage to us and complete a licensing agreement. Viral Barn then acts as your video’s representative, distributing it across monetized platforms like YouTube, Rumble, Dailymotion, and others. We promote your content to media outlets, including TV networks, websites, and digital creators. The goal is to generate revenue through ads and by licensing your footage to partners. There are no upfront fees to use the service. Instead, you earn a share of the revenue your video generates. In short, Viral Barn helps get your content seen by the right audience and pays you when your footage is successfully licensed.

When you submit your content to Viral Barn, you grant us exclusive rights to manage, promote, and monetize your content on your behalf.

"Exclusive" means that once you sign with us, neither you nor anyone else can perform these distribution activities. It's essential not to give permission to others as it conflicts with our contract.

Exclusivity has a purpose: if multiple entities can sell the footage, it drives down the price, resulting in lower overall profit for you. Our team is available to provide more information if you have further questions.

"Monetization" refers to the process of generating ad revenue from videos posted on platforms like YouTube. The amount of revenue depends on factors such as advertiser demand, payment rates, and the video's popularity and content.

It's challenging to predict the exact amount of ad revenue a video will generate. However, at Viral Barn, we take steps to maximize monetization and ensure your video's earning potential is optimized.

What if someone contacts me about using my clip after I sign with Viral Barn?

If you receive requests to use your video after signing with Viral Barn, simply direct them to our Licensing Team at licensing@viralbarn.com.Since you’ve granted Viral Barn exclusive rights to represent your content, it’s important not to approve usage on your own. Our team will handle negotiations and work to secure the best possible deal for you—without the back-and-forth.It’s common for people to contact creators directly for permission. If that happens, just let them know your video is exclusively represented by Viral Barn and point them our way.Keeping our contact details handy makes it easy to redirect any inquiries quickly.

You can continue to showcase your video on your social media accounts or post it to your social pages even after submitting it to ViralHog.

We simply ask that you share the link to those posts with our team, so we can record them as a licensor copy on your file.

Additionally, we encourage you to add our licensing line to the description of your posts. This will help direct sales-related inquiries to our Licensing Department.

Your video can generate revenue through license sales and monetization. Our Licensing Team negotiates deals with our global network of media partners who have various content needs, ranging from social media posts to TV and film productions.

The Licensing Team works to secure the best deal for your video based on the project's size and scope. Additionally, monetization plays a role in revenue generation. When your video is monetized on platforms like YouTube, ad revenue is generated based on the ads shown.

The revenue per view can vary depending on ad type and advertiser demand. While we can't control these variables, we strive to maximize your return from monetized posts.

Once your video starts generating revenue through licensing or ads, you’ll receive a percentage of the earnings. Payments are typically sent via methods like PayPal or bank transfer, depending on your setup.

Payout timing can vary, but most earnings are processed on a monthly or quarterly basis after the revenue is collected. Since licensing depends on demand, some videos generate income quickly, while others may take more time to gain traction.

In short, you get paid as your video earns—and timing depends on how quickly it’s licensed and monetized.

The term length and cancellation policies for Viral Barn agreements may vary depending on the specific arrangement in place.

If you wish to cancel your agreement, please contact our Support Team at help@viralbarn.com.

Our team will review your specific contract, clarify the applicable term length, and provide you with detailed guidance on your options. While we’ll do our best to assist you, cancellation requests are subject to the terms outlined in your agreement and may not always be approved.

We appreciate your understanding and are here to help with any questions you may have.
